The End of the Beginning

That premiere was freaking amazing. That's all I need to say, but I'll go on.

Questions I have:
  1. Why could that other mental patient also see Charlie?
  2. How the heck did Naomi get that knife out of her back? She had to've had help with that.
  3. Who are the other 3 of the Oceanic 6? Are Michael and Walt included in that?
  4. What the hell happened with Hurley and the cabin?
  5. Was that really who I think it was in the chair?
  6. Whose eye was that?
  7. Did Hurley's money really go away after the plane crash?
  8. How did Hurley end up with off the island if he's in a different sect right now?
  9. Why was there not a better cliffhanger at the end?
My temporary thoughts or answers:

1. The other mental patient may also be imaginary.
2. Danielle Rousseau...I don't trust her yet; 16 years alone on an island has gotta make you a bit crazy, and I think she may've had her hand in helping Naomi, including leading them the wrong way.
3. I think Claire (because of Desmond's flash), Sayid (because he's not incredibly suspected according to friends and forums), and Locke (because I really wanna see what would happen to him back on land). But if Michael and Walt count as two of them, then I would just go with Claire.
3.5. Maybe the Oceanic 6 aren't really only 6 people who got off the island, but, instead, a band that some of the survivors formed!!!
4. Um...pass
5. Who was in the rocking chair, you/I ask? See above compared to:

Eh? Eh? Yeah, it looks to me like that may be a Christian Shephard. From Lostpedia:
  • Pros: In the bible it is said that Jacob was the first one to be called "shepherd" by God. Because Christian is the first "Shephard" out of the two we see on the show, this could be a possible hint. He also didn't appear to be in his coffin when Jack found it on the island. Hurley saw him sitting in the cabin. There is a possibility he is not dead. In flashback, he told Claire that he knows of a way of making someone appear dead, and on the island, there are spiders that can do just this (eg. Nicki and Pablo). This would imply that Christian has been to the island before.
  • Cons: He really is dead because Jack as a doctor did see his dead body at the morgue in Sydney. (BUT we see him on the island in the last mobisode, 'So It Begins'). Christian does not have brown eyes.
I do not exactly agree with the Cons, because, there's a possibility that he was able to fake it with some short term paralysis and the help of a doctor friend in Australia. So the real question is not "Who's in the coffin?" but "Was Christian really in the first coffin?"
6. I don't think who the eye belongs matters a great deal at this point, other than that it was just creepy.
7. Hurley's money would likely've gone to his mother, unless there's some crazy flashback we haven't seen yet where Hurley gets married and has children. His mother is, at least, still alive, most likely, since Hurley has the car from his childhood and was able to buy the part he needed so he can run from the police.
8. I'm thinkin' Hurley had to go back and tell Jack something important and showed up at just the wrong moment.
9. It didn't need a good cliffhanger at the end because the entire episode was a giant cliffhanger in itself.

Oh I just can't wait! for the next episoooode.

A "Christian Shepard is a major player in the series as a whole" theory is being formulated currently. Estimated Release date: Mid-ish February.

Christian is not JACOB!!! Ugh, I hate this theory. THe eye, the crazy eye, is jacob's. Unless Jacob assumed the body of Christian (which I would buy after mobisode 13). But Christian, to my knowledge, is not Jacob. As for the Oceanic 6, Michael and Walt are not two because...THEY HAVE TO BE COMING BACK! Both of the actors were accredited in the credits of this episode, and not as guest stars. They have to be coming back to the Island, theres no other explanation. And when they come back...well, Im not sure how well Michael will do....anywho...I think that Claire will get off (1) and that Aaron gets off as well (2) add that to Jack, Kate, and Hurley and we have six.....unless aaron dies. which could happen, but I seriously doubt it.

I can't believe "You know you" used the same title as you...
My prediction of who the Oceanic 6 are:
of course Hurley, Kate, Jack,
then Neil Frogurt, Scott (or Steve, I forget which one is still alive)
and finally... Zombie Paulo!

I initially thought the creepy cabin eye was Jacob's... but then I began to wonder. If Locke could hear but not see Jacob and Hurley DID see Jacob, does that mean Hurley is *gasp* more special than John Locke?!

I would like to apologize for the inane, rambley nature of this comment... I blame the Nyquil
