Ben...saw...Cloverfield...

IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED CLOVERFIELD, DO NOT READ!!!

I've never, ever watched a movie more than twice in theaters on the same night...until now. And I absolutely loved it. It is my favorite movie. I came out of both of them shaking from excitement; I think I even teared up from amazement in the middle somewhere. Also, did anyone notice the DHARMA logo (Hydra, I think) in the first minute of the movie in the bottom right corner? The cinematography was great, the acting was great, and the score (being the song in the credits, which was by Mikey G. (Lost music!)) was great. Did you guys stay 'til the very end to hear the audio? Well, there were various ideas...but if you reverse it...you can hear (pretty plainly) "It's still alive." Of course! It's not a J. J. production without a backward whisper! Out of 4 stars...I'll give it...108 stars!

Cloverfield blows...my mind

It's utterly brilliant!
I loved every second of footage from beginning to end. J.J. Abrams is like a modern day King Midas, everything the man touches turns awesome.
This movie is just so darn original... I would even say it's more than just a movie, it's a cinematic masterpiece that should be experienced by all.
The DVD release of this film is sure to be equally incredible... Just the thought of a commentary featuring J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Drew Goddard catapults me to a state of nerdvana.
Overall I give Cloverfield a A++++++++ rating as well as 500 stars.
(Ends fanboy ranting)
It was a good day :)

I definately posted a picture of the dharma logo on my latest post!
And Cloverfield was utterly fantastic, I have seen it about 4 times...heehee.

I thought some of the acting was a little rough, but the overall movie was intense. I loved how they ended it, with the playback of Rob and Beth at Coney Island (where you clearly see something falling into the water)...
And I agree with Brian on this one: JJ is Midas. If only he wasnt married....

I work in a movie theater and several people claim to see the monster falling into the ocean at the end of the movie. But you have to stare specifically at the top right hand corner of the screen to it.
