I hate not being able to post often.
It's really difficult to do the ARG with no internet.
Christmas rocked. I have the 2008 Lost calendar and season 3 of Lost, speaking of which, my favorite easter egg is (semi-spoiler, but maybe not for the two of you who read this) the Room 23 sequence. I want to try looping that as I sleep on night and see if I end up weird in the morning. Oh yeah, and the Lost season 2 soundtrack.
I had to go to the Cotton Bowl to play at the game there. I didn't really have much fun there, but at least I bought an 1000 piece Lost puzzle. I think I got the one about the connections between the characters.
And finally, a joke I found on a forum (Chris and Brian, feel free to use it in a podcast):
How many LOST fans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Answer: 108
One to notice the light is burned out.
23 to argue whether the light bulb is burned out or just off.
One to check to see if the light bulb has a DHARMA logo on it.
42 to discuss the significance of the light bulb and why it burned out exactly when it did.
Three to look up the “Meaning” of light bulbs.
Two to site references in classical literature about light bulbs.
One to stand around and ***** about how light bulbs have “Jumped the Shark”.
Ten people will come from out of nowhere to say how the hate light bulbs and how they’ll never watch a light bulb again.
15 more to complain that light bulbs were better in season 1.
Four to discuss whether the light bulb is a hallucination.
Five to wonder if Kate will fall in love with the light bulb.
One who will take screen captures of the light bulb and enhance it x 100 then post it to discuss the significance of the piece of dust covering part of the DHARMA logo.
One to check the serial numbers on the light bulb to see how they match up with ‘The Numbers”

Here's the thread I took it from, and it's kind of funny to read some of the other suggestions for answers.

MP,
Glad to see you've returned... I absolutely love the light bulb joke..we might have to read it on the show. What do you think of the 2008 LOST calendar? I've been wanting to pick one up but I haven't been able to find 'em anywhere. Take care...only 25 more days til season 4.

and also...
I do not consider the LOST in 8 min 15 seconds video to be a spoiler. It's actually quite awesome, you should go check it out!
Now to answer the questions you left on our blog...
1) Judging by Conan and Letterman's writer strike beards I think Jack could of grown his in about 2 or 3 months.
2) This is a question few know the answer to... it all depends on what you mean by "origins"
And on a final note, did you ever get the package we sent you?

BEN!!!!
You finally updated! Ok, so first off, we are working together? Really? I guess that means you should call more often (just no later than 11 o clock! lol).
And the joke, very funny. I laughed my head off.
I guess I'm not a big letterman fan, because I didn't know anything of the beard situation you were telling me about on the phone, but I see where you are coming from now. I agree with Brian on this one.
Yes, people screaming pointlessly at me is just another of my job qualifications. One must remember, however, that I am in debate and that I am fully capable of out arguing them WITHOUT cursing or yelling; its a talent few have.
Finally, I heart the lost ARG. Definately involved in it. Cloverfield too, but thats a different story.
Gimme a call.

Chris and Brian's origins are among the great mysteries of the universe, ranking somewhere between "What's up with Stonehenge?" and "Why the heck do people watch American Idol?"
All I can tell you for now is that it has nothing to do with the color orange.
As for the new theory you're concocting.. feel free to share it whenever you think the time is right.
