And Here We Are

Nothing much has changed yet, so it's hard to think of new things to ramble about.

This Saturday makes it one month with Kendra and me. It is true that I still have doubts of some sort, but I'm waiting it out to see if it works out. What should I do for our one month? I mean, besides the football game Arkansas vs. Florida International that I have to march in.

Lost update: I have been spoiled... *breaks down crying*

My roommate told me the title of the first episode of season 4...which I won't bring up here. But, for the record, I really don't think it spoiled anything. At least, I hope not. It seemed to be a bit generic. It's been a while, but it may or may not have been one of the guesses made by Chris or Brian on the amazing Lost Unlocked Podcast (or LUP, for short). And no, it is not "Blood on My Hands".

Off We Go...

Things are still going pretty well. Mr. Gunter (the band director) decided to give us the rest of the week off, so no band until Monday! He rewarded us for our hard work learning 3 different shows for four weeks of home games the past four weeks. So very happy, it makes me.

Also, I've gotten Kendra (girlfriend) started on Lost. She wasn't too interested at first, but I pushed her into certain episodes that are usually the hooks (the ones that have the "WTF" moments): Walkabout (Locke was paralyzed?!?!), House of the Rising Sun (Sun can speak English?!?!), Solitary (French lady is alive?!?!), and we're coming up on one of the best hooks, Raised By Another (holy $#*!, who's Ethan and why'd he take Chaire/Clarlie?!?!).

Oh yeah, also, I got a 92 on the Calculus midterm, which really makes up for the homework I /may/ have forgotten to do.

Looking Up?

So I have a girlfriend now; her name is Kendra Frazier. I'm happy now.

Out of boredom, I've started writing a short story; I may someday post it here, but I'm not sure yet, as it isn't exactly the most conventional style of writing. Also, each chapter so far is one page double-spaced. It's a post-apocalyptic, western, romance story about a boy named Tomato; he has laser-eyes, like most tomatoes. Now if that didn't convince you to not want to read it, I'm not sure what would.
